About Me...

My name is Maggie and I am an uber-energetic mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, spiritual apprentice. I am constantly exploring, learning, sharing and helping where I can, there isn’t a visual concept I don’t crave to create!

I was born and raised in Minnesota, grew up as a competitive swimmer (lived in the water), love the outdoors, movies, music, yoga, time with family & friends and enjoy exploring too many creative outlets.

My background is actually in computer science and math. I spent 15 years in IT; in programming, customer relationship management, service level negotiations, capacity planning, middleware infrastructure design and support. I then took a left turn in my career with a shift to consulting with business leaders on talent and leadership development.

I was blessed with 21 years of great experience in corporate America! But, I have always been an entrepreneur at heart. Six years ago, I co-founded a boutique consulting firm, Insight Advisor Group, focused on embedding innovation, aligning to strategy and helping teams navigate change.

My journey has helped me discover my true passion of simplifying the complex. Creating visuals from thought, concept, words, etc. is something I love to do! I have also always craved creative outlets. That's where Meaningful Expressions comes in!

About Meaningful Expressions...

I was very thoughtful about the name for my company; Meaningful Expressions. For years, I have loved turning concepts into visuals. I have also loved connecting people to information and/or to other people. My newly found passion is to create graphics, websites and/or videos that express the meaning behind your product, service or cause... in a way that makes others smile, cry, laugh.... simply connect & FEEL! I do this for entrepreneurs, business leaders, podcasters and authors. I love helping convey a more meaningful expression of a brand!

I was inspired by an author named Johnnie Calloway... Johnnie and I met in October of 2016 at the Hay House 'I Can Do It' conference. I was amazed by his life's journey - the strength, the humility, the compassion of this man is amazing! I had the privilege of helping share his story through a video about his first book - Dragons to Butterflies; The Metamorphasis of A Man Since then, Johnnie and I have become fast friends and I am blessed to be a part of his amazing work in helping others heal.
